      (8)  Ladies Lead Half a Hey (ladies pass right shoulders to start);
A2  (16)  Neighbor Balance and long Swing; - ;

B1  (16)  Circle Left one quarter, Partner Balance; and Partner Swing; 
B2  (8)  To Right Slice (forward to next couple) and Ricochet (backup to face them);
      (8)  New Gents Dosado;
Note:  After the Ricochet, couples at the end move around to the other line 
       and wait for next Slice.

A1  (8)  Slice and Ricochet (move towards the couple diagonally to the left, 
         then back up to end facing them.  Couples on the left end of their line 
         should Slice toward a phantom couple and then Ricochet as a spare couple. 
         They then move to the other side ready to join in again at the next Slice and Ricochet.
      (8)  Gents Allemande Left once and a half.
A2  (8)  Opposite Swing.
      (8)  Long lines go Forward and Back.

B1  (8)  Ladies Allemande Left once and a half to face original partner. 
      (8)  (Begin right shoulder) Half a Hey.
B2  (16)  Partner Balance and Swing.

Dixie Twirl Contra

Formation: Couples Facing Couples.   (Progression is counterclockwise.)     
Music:  "SLA Contra" on Silver Sounds Records 163 or any March 

A1  (8)  Swing Partner and end with her on the right facing down the hall
      (8)  Lines of Four go down the hall six steps then begin Dixie Twirl
A2  (8)  Dixie Twirl and come back
      (8)  Cast Off

B1  (8)  Long Lines Forward and Back
      (8)  Slant Left Right and Left Thru
B2  (8)  Ladies Dosado
      (8)  Gents Dosado

DIXIE TWIRL:  ( 8 beats)  Centre most two dancer raise joined hands in an arch.  
The far right lady walks to her left under the arch, taking her partner with her. 
Without letting go of hands, this couple veers to the right to become the right-
hand couple in lines facing up the hall.  Simultaneously the far left-hand 
gentleman and his partner walk as a couple in a sweeping turn to the right to 
become the left-hand couple in lines facing up the hall.

CAST OFF:  From lines of four facing head of hall, centre most two dancers let go 
of hands and pivoting on the end dancers, couples wheel away, turning 3/4 
around to finish facing each other across the set.
